Atlanta-based REPAY has agreed to acquire Mississauga’s KUBRA for approximately US$372 million, expanding its position in North America’s bill payments sector. KUBRA, founded in 1992, provides billing and customer engagement solutions to utilities, government, and insurance clients, reaching over 40% of households across Canada and the United States.
The combined platform will support more than $130 billion in annual payment volumes. Executives say the deal brings complementary capabilities and strengthens growth opportunities across multiple industries. The transaction, funded through cash and debt, is expected to close in the second quarter of 2026, pending regulatory approvals.
