Avidbots, a Kitchener-Waterloo tech firm, has introduced Kas, a new compact autonomous floor scrubbing robot designed for tighter spaces in retail, transportation, healthcare, and education sectors. Unlike its larger counterpart, Neo, Kas offers a narrower build and improved maneuverability, ideal for environments with frequent human activity.
Avidbots’ CEO, Faizan Sheikh, highlights Kas’s role in enhancing cleaning efficiency and supporting clients’ automation strategies. The robot features advanced AI, a sophisticated sensor system for obstacle avoidance, and can operate over three hours per charge. This innovation aligns with Avidbots’ commitment to simplifying operational processes through automation.
