Vancouver’s Blanka has just closed an impressive $2.7 million seed funding round, propelling its disruptive private label beauty and wellness platform.
Founded in 2021 by Kaylee Astle, Doug Long, and Adam Chuntz, Blanka empowers aspiring beauty entrepreneurs, allowing them to launch brands in less than an hour for under $200. The platform eliminates industry bottlenecks such as high manufacturing minimums and analog processes.
Astle, Blanka’s CEO, pointed out that independent brands now hold 25% of the global beauty industry, driving the need for a platform like Blanka’s.
