A new survey reveals that 74% of midsize Canadian organizations have adopted generative AI, with 84% experiencing positive impacts. Despite this, the RSM Canada survey finds only 49% have fully integrated AI technologies. Rhys Morgan of RSM notes that many businesses currently struggle with a shortage of skilled staff and require external help, among other causes for hesitation.
The survey, conducted by Big Village, shows that 61% of orgs use AI for automated tasks, 51% for customer service, and 46% for productivity. Additionally, 78% of firms with AI budgets plan to increase investment next year, indicating a strong future for AI integration.
