Three Canadian women-led tech startups join Google’s 2024 Women Founders program, part of Google for Startups Accelerator. Launched in 2020, this initiative aims to lessen barriers for North American women entrepreneurs. The 10-week, equity-free program offers mentorship, technical support, and workshops in product design, customer acquisition, and leadership.
The Canadian cohort includes Kitchener-Waterloo’s MedReddie, enhancing healthcare supply chains with language models, Surrey’s SkyAcres, offering indoor farming software, and Calgary’s Nimble Science, developing an innovative intestinal sampling device. Collectively, program alumni raised $93.2 million USD. Google’s Women Founders program starts this spring.
