Ottawa’s Dominion Dynamics has signed a memorandum of understanding with Ukrainian defence technology company Tencore to manufacture uncrewed ground vehicles in Canada. The partnership would combine Tencore’s TerMIT platform with Dominion’s AuraNet command-and-control system for deployment in Ukraine.
TerMIT vehicles can support logistics, evacuation and other military missions without personnel aboard. Initial Canadian production is planned for 2027, following technology transfer and technician training, while a definitive agreement remains under negotiation. Dominion also aims to develop an Arctic-ready version for Canadian operations and exports to NATO allies. The initiative would expand Canada’s role in manufacturing defence technology developed in Ukraine.
