Calgary-based GeologicAI has strategically acquired Resource Modeling Solutions (RMS), an Alberta-based geo-statistics and geo-metallurgy consulting firm. This move follows a successful $30 million funding round, including $10 million from Export Development Canada and $20 million led by Breakthrough Energy Ventures.
GeologicAI’s integrated digital rock analytics platform, which significantly shortens traditional year-long analysis processes to a week or less, stands to gain further expertise and capabilities from RMS.
The partnership is expected to foster collaboration, innovation, and knowledge-sharing in the industry, building on GeologicAI’s commitment to integrating cutting-edge technologies. Founded in 2013, GeologicAI is poised for major scale-up, including a significant workforce expansion in the coming years.
