Pilot, a Canadian startup, is shaking up the travel planning industry with its all-in-one platform.
Born from founder Connor Wilson’s ATV ride in Greece, the company initially aimed to enhance social connection but later shifted its focus to travel.
Rebranded as Pilot, the startup developed a Social Trip Planner, enabling users to collaborate, plan itineraries, and vote for activities.
The platform also streamlines the process of obtaining eVisas and provides up-to-date travel requirements.
Despite early technical issues, Pilot attracted users and investments, leading to a website overhaul and expansion of its team.
The startup’s success has been recognized through various accolades and being named a finalist in the New Ventures BC Competition.
