Despite progress, gender disparity in tech persists, with women making up only 24% of Canada’s tech workforce.
Google for Startups Accelerator’s Women Founders initiative aims to change this narrative. In its fourth year, the 10-week virtual accelerator program empowers women-led startups.
This year, 11 North American startups join the cohort, including three from Canada: BorderlessHR, Monark, and NLPatent. These innovative businesses harness AI and ML to drive change in sectors like retail, healthcare, and HR.
Collectively, the program’s graduates, including this new class, have secured $73.46M USD, emphasizing its role in reshaping the tech landscape for gender equity.
