Toronto-based fintech Clearco has successfully completed a strategic recapitalization, bolstering its position as a leading growth capital provider for e-commerce businesses.
The company raised $60M in a Series D round led by Inovia Capital and Founders Circle Capital, alongside a new $100M asset-backed financing facility from Pollen Street Capital.
Clearco’s AI-powered underwriting model will use the Pollen Street facility to fund revenue-based advances to e-commerce ventures.
The move follows over a year of transformative changes in technology, products, and management for Clearco, aimed at better supporting e-commerce growth amid funding challenges.
