Global SaaS Companies Vantage Circle and Eventcombo Expand Operations in Calgary

Vantage Circle and Eventcombo have chosen Calgary for their new offices, aiming to hire up to 250 employees each in the next three years.

Eventcombo, a US-based company, is investing $10 million in expansion with support from Invest Alberta. Calgary Economic Development is also backing both firms.

Calgary’s thriving startup ecosystem, valued at $2.7 billion, has seen remarkable growth, adding 2,156 companies between 2012 and 2021. Despite the downturn in the Canadian tech sector, Alberta raised $222.5 million in funding, surpassing Toronto and British Columbia in the first quarter of this year.

Eventcombo’s $10 Million Investment in Calgary Unveils New HQ and Jason Kenney as Senior Advisor

Eventcombo, the New Jersey-based event technology platform, is expanding its operations and setting up a new headquarters in Calgary with a $10 million investment. The move is supported by Invest Alberta and Calgary Economic Development, aiming to create 250 highly skilled jobs.

Eventcombo’s collaboration with Alberta Innovates and Alberta Machine Intelligence Institute (Amii) has revolutionized event planning with artificial intelligence.

Notably, the company announced former Alberta Premier Jason Kenney as their new senior advisor. This strategic partnership will enhance Eventcombo’s growth and bring valuable expertise to their innovative event management solutions.
