Fintechs Canada, established in 2019, has announced seven new board members to drive its 2025 agenda. The Board includes experts from Peoples Group, Wealthsimple, Sagard, nanopay, Flinks, Koho, and Borrowell. Board Chair Andrew Graham this week highlighted the critical role of Fintechs Canada in advancing payments modernization and open banking.
Significant achievements Fintechs Canada is working on include legislative changes for payment systems access and a federal open banking framework. As the federal election approaches, the organization says it remains committed to a forward-looking policy agenda that aims to foster fintech growth and innovation.
