Calgary-based Helcim has launched the Helcim Payment Extension, a browser-based tool that injects Helcim’s interchange-plus payments directly into third-party vertical SaaS platforms. The extension allows merchants to use Helcim inside popular business software such as Jobber, Clio, and Jane App, without switching platforms or accepting bundled payment providers.

Payment data flows automatically between the software and Helcim, keeping records in sync. The extension supports more than 20 platforms at launch, with plans to expand to over 100 integrations by year-end.

Calgary-based Helcim has signed a strategic agreement with U.S. telecom giant Verizon, becoming the first payments provider embedded in Verizon’s new business marketplace. The partnership gives Helcim a powerful channel to expand its customer base across the United States.

Calgary fintech company Helcim has introduced “Faster Deposits,” a new feature that enables small and mid-sized businesses across North America to access funds within minutes of processing credit card transactions. Utilizing real-time networks like Interac Instant, RTP, and FedNow, the system eliminates the standard 1–3 day wait, without extra fees.

Merchants at eligible banks are automatically enrolled after initial transactions. CEO Nic Beique called the feature a “transformation,” addressing common cash flow issues for businesses. Now in beta, Faster Deposits will be fully available by summer 2025.

Calgary fintech Helcim has closed a $27 million Series B funding round led by Silicon Valley VC Headline. The funding will allow Helcim to further its mission of delivering superior payment and business management solutions to traditional SMBs and mid-market Main Street merchants across Canada and the U.S.
