Vancouver’s HTEC, Canada’s top clean hydrogen solutions company, has announced a $337 million partnership with the Canada Infrastructure Bank (CIB) to expand hydrogen production and refuelling infrastructure. This investment supports HTEC’s H2 Gateway, aimed at reducing transportation sector emissions.
The project includes building a hydrogen liquefaction facility and three new production facilities in British Columbia, along with 20 hydrogen refuelling stations in BC and Alberta. The initiative is expected to create over 280 full-time jobs and significantly reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 133,000 tonnes annually.
