Glen Clark, former British Columbia Premier, has temporarily assumed the role of CEO at Victoria-based Overstory Media Group (OMG), following the departure of co-founder Farhan Mohamed from day-to-day operations.
Clark, who is on OMG’s board, shared the news in a video meeting with senior staff. Mohamed remains on the company’s board.
OMG, co-founded by tech entrepreneur Andrew Wilkinson and Mohamed in 2020, has been known for its emphasis on email newsletters and acquisition of local media brands. Clark’s interim leadership follows recent financial challenges and staff reductions at OMG. His goal is to guide the company through a turnaround period.
