Toronto Global’s Annual Report, launched at Collision 2023 conference, showcases the Toronto Region’s thriving post-pandemic economy.
The report highlights a record-breaking year, with 45 new investments facilitated, creating 3,325 direct jobs and contributing $920 million in capital expenditure. These figures exceeded targets by 150% and 300%, respectively, providing an exceptional return on investment for government partners.
Since 2017, Toronto Global has attracted 215 international companies, generating 30,000 jobs and $2.8 billion in capital expenditure. These investments have contributed $700 million in revenue for all levels of government and $3.6 billion to Canada’s GDP.
