Vidyard, a Kitchener-based video software company, has secured a US$15 million investment led by Export Development Canada, with contributions from Battery Ventures, Bessemer Venture Partners, BMO Capital Partners, and Inovia Capital. The funding supports Vidyard’s enhancement of video production through AI, including its latest innovation, AI Avatars.
This new tool allows clients to create video clips from scripts using digital versions of themselves, streamlining the production of training and promotional materials.
