Voices, the global voice over marketplace, has unveiled its 2024 Audio Trends Report, surveying over 1,000 voice actor employers.
The report reveals growing engagement with AI tools, including AI voices, among creatives. 41% of brands intend to boost voice over budgets this year, with animation (36%), internet ads (31%), and eLearning videos (23%) leading the way.
46% of brands use AI-based tools, with applications ranging from content drafting to data analysis. In 2023, 45% experimented with AI voices, a 7% increase from the previous year. 64% consider AI voices for the future but prioritize authenticity and quality over cost and convenience.
