TELUS has announced a strategic partnership with Australian EV charging company JOLT, aiming to deploy 5,000 public DC fast chargers across Canada.
With millions of electric vehicles projected to hit Canadian roads, more than 200,000 public chargers are needed by 2030.
This collaboration will accelerate infrastructure development, driving electric vehicle adoption and reducing greenhouse gas emissions.
The JOLT EV charging network, powered by 100% renewable energy, will offer 7 kWh of free charging per day through the JOLT app, providing approximately 40-50 km of range in just 15-20 minutes.
TELUS and JOLT’s commitment to sustainability will enable accessible and affordable EV charging nationwide.
