SenseNet, a startup from TiE Incubation Lab, has raised $1 million in funding for its AI-powered wildfire detection platform.
The platform integrates data from various sources, including sensors, cameras, satellites, and historical records, to deliver advanced insights for wildfire detection, monitoring, and decision making. Offering durability and efficiency with a lifespan of 5-10 years, SenseNet’s technology surpasses other systems relying on short-lived batteries.
Dr. Hamed Noori, CEO of SenseNet and a UBC PhD graduate, credited TiE for its strategic guidance on market entry and investor communication.
TiE Incubation Lab encourages Canadian founders to apply for its second cohort.
