Tesla is teaming up with Vancouver real estate developer Beedie to construct North America’s largest service center. The 120,000-square-foot flagship facility will be situated at 950 Raymur Avenue in Vancouver’s Strathcona neighborhood, repurposing a brownfield site.
Beedie President Ryan Beedie expressed enthusiasm for supporting the electric vehicle transition. British Columbians lead Canada in zero-emission vehicle adoption, with electric cars comprising 21% of new light-duty passenger vehicle sales in 2023.
Construction starts early in 2024, targeting completion by early 2026. The Vancouver Tesla facility will handle servicing, vehicle preparation, deliveries, and feature a showroom.
