A new Proptech Collective report highlights the rapid rise of Canada’s property technology industry, with over 500 active firms. More than 75% launched in the last decade, and 28% are at the pre-seed stage. The Greater Toronto Area dominates the sector, followed by Vancouver, Calgary, and Montreal.
Stephanie Wood of Alate Partners says early business models have refined investor strategies, while AI is poised to drive future innovation. “It’s an exciting time,” she said. The report predicts continued efficiencies in real estate transactions and advancements in modular construction.
