Boeing has unveiled plans to invest in several Québec-based enterprises, including a $110 million anchor investment for an Aerospace Development Centre in the new Espace Aéro Innovation Zone. These investments are part of Boeing’s commitment to Canada following its selection of the P-8A Poseidon aircraft for the country’s multi-mission needs.
Boeing will collaborate with Wisk’s Montreal engineering center on autonomous eVTOL air taxis and work with Héroux-Devtek on advanced landing gear research. This initiative aims to advance sustainable aerospace technologies in Canada, fostering economic growth and innovation. The move is expected to generate nearly 3,000 jobs and $358 million annually.
