Promise Robotics Lands U.S. Homebuilding Deal

October 13, 2026 by Newsdesk

Toronto’s Promise Robotics has landed its first U.S. customer: D.R. Horton, America’s largest homebuilder by volume. A multi-year agreement will support production of more than 1,250 homes in the Phoenix area using the Canadian startup’s AI-powered robotics and factory services.

Promise plans to open a 16,000-square-foot Phoenix facility, with manufacturing expected to begin in early 2027. It will be the company’s third factory, following Calgary and Edmonton. Its platform connects home designs, robotic manufacturing and installation, aiming to help builders deliver homes faster and more affordably. The agreement marks a commercial milestone as Promise expands beyond the Canadian housing market.
