In a strategic move, Square has joined forces with Jane Technologies, a prominent online ordering platform for cannabis dispensaries, to extend services to cannabis vendors in Canada.

This collaboration allows cannabis dispensaries to augment their physical stores with an online platform, facilitating customers in selecting items from an updated menu and placing orders for pick-up or delivery.

Square has also introduced an Early Access Program for licensed cannabis dispensaries in Ontario, enabling them to trial the Square for Retail point of sale (POS) solution before a broader rollout.

Generation Z, born between 1995 and 2012, is Canada’s most entrepreneurial generation, but they face challenges securing financial support.
