TD Bank Group is expanding its use of agentic artificial intelligence across the mortgage process, introducing capabilities developed by its in-house Layer 6 team. The tools coordinate document verification, connect information across systems and prepare outputs for employees to review.
The expansion builds on TD’s May launch of agentic AI for mortgage pre-adjudication, extending the technology into lending workflows. TD says the goal is to reduce repetitive administrative work so employees can focus on clients and complex decisions. Staff remain responsible for reviewing AI-generated outputs, positioning the systems as support for mortgage teams as the bank broadens its AI deployment.
