Salmon Arm–based 4AG Robotics has raised $40 million in Series B financing to expand global deployment of its autonomous mushroom-harvesting robots. The round, led by Astanor Ventures and Cibus Capital, brings total funding to $57.5 million in two years. 4AG’s AI-powered systems harvest mushrooms 24/7 and retrofit into existing infrastructure, reducing labour costs and boosting productivity.
Deployments are active in Canada, Ireland, and Australia, with upcoming launches in the U.S. and Netherlands. The new funds will support manufacturing expansion, customer service growth, and R&D for features like disease detection and punnet packing.
