Thomson Reuters is expanding CoCounsel Legal with a Multinational Profile that brings legal content from more than 100 countries and territories into one research workflow. Announced October 14, the capability helps lawyers compare requirements across jurisdictions, examine supporting sources, and identify issues requiring local advice.
Canadian customers are expected to receive access during October, with general availability of the next generation of CoCounsel Legal anticipated by month’s end. The broader platform combines research, document analysis, and workspaces grounded in Westlaw and Practical Law. The expansion targets businesses and legal teams navigating international matters while reducing fragmentation across their research tools.
